LATE HARVESTS AND SELECTION OF NOBLE GRAPES

Meyer-Fonné Domaine : sale of wines (reserve wines, late harvests, grands crus, riesling, gewurztraminer, pinot gris, pinot noir, pinot blanc, vendange tardive, selection of noble grapes, cremant)

OUR LATE HARVEST WINES

These rare wines produced only as grand vintages and under strict conditions have an absolutely exceptional richness. This quality has been acquired due to the good weather of the late autumn, the action of the noble rot, and the expertise of the wine maker.

PINOT GRIS HINTERBURG LATE HARVEST

A steeply sloping granite terroir, cultivated in terraces. It has a pure, very expressive nose with fine smoky and fruity notes (fresh pineapple), as well as note of honey and white truffle. It has a suave, elegant finish, with a perfect mineral intensity and balance. A fine gastronomic wine to be consumed with foies gras (specially fresh and pan fried).

GEWURZTRAMINER GRAND CRU WINECK-SCHLOSSBERG LH

Harvested with a fine noble rot, the nose presents elegant notes of rose, bergamot, violet and spices. The finish is voluptuous, suave, but very delicate. This is a mellow wine but balanced by the minerality and distinguished character of the granite. Perfect as an aperitif, solo or with foies gras.

GEWURZTRAMINER DORFBURG VIEILLES VIGNES SGN

Harvested by sorting grapes affected by the noble rot, this vintage presents a pure elegant nose, with floral notes of rose and spices. The finish is profound, dense, harmonious, and perfectly balanced. This wine would keep very well for a long time.

PINOT GRIS HINTERBURG DE KATZENTHAL SGN

Harvested by sorting grapes affected by the noble rot, this vintage presents a pure elegant nose, with floral notes of rose and spices. The finish is profound, dense, harmonious, and perfectly balanced. This wine would keep very well for a long time.

GEWURZTRAMINER GRAND CRU SPOREN SGN

This is a stony, clayey marly terroir with a very historical reputation (In 1580, Fischart accorded it first place among the wines of Alsace). The Sporen is perfectly suited to the production of rich and syrupy wines. Harvested by sorting the grapes affected by noble rot, this vintage presents an intense gold robe. A complex nose with notes of honey, orange, apricot, peach. The palate is very syrupy, long and finishes on an exceptional freshness.
